BLUES AND BLUES FAIL TO IMPRESS

Both Burnham and Marlow left their goalscoring boots in the locker as they failed to bother both Andrew Bayliss in the home goal and Charlie Fanner at the other end.  As the season draws to a close this is now 5 matches without a win, 0-0 would have been a good bet, and this was certainly a local derby that hopefully will be soon forgotten.

LATE OWN GOAL DENIES BLUES A SHARE OF THE SPOILS

Burnham suffered a 2-1 defeat this afternoon at North Greenford United in a typical end of season encounter between two sides with little to play for. Sean Hillier gave the home side a 9th minute lead that in all honesty looked as that would be it for the day. Jon Munday was red carded on 78 minutes for words to the referee that were not appreciated.  Two minutes later Burnham were level when Keiran Knight equalised.  As time was running out Ryan Bird scored the hosts winner when diverted a cross into his own net.
